This is probably the best USB mic you're going to get at that price. You won't get amazing quality, but it will be fine for your budget. I could recommend XLR microphones at that price range, but since you don't have a pre-amp (or audio interface), it's not going to work, and you might not even see a quality difference.
Overall, if you want the best quality, I would recommend saving up for a better mic.
okay thank you, i was also looking at getting something like an amp/mixer thing for an XLR, but i also want something i can run my headphones through? ive looked at a couple mixers in the 35GBP range but im unsure if i can also run my headphones through them.

Unfortunately, that 'mixer' doesn't have the correct phantom power voltage that is needed for condenser microphones (48v). If you wanted to use that mixer, you would need a phantom power box, around £20. While the inputs and the size are pretty unnecessary for your needs, this one supplies 48v of phantom power: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .
Yes, you can plug headphones into this interface, just get a 3.5mm jack -> 1/4inch jack converter and plug it into the 'PHONES' slot on the interface.

Okay, that 'mixer' isn't something that you're looking for then. You'll need a USB audio interface. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] 's one for ~£35 (after shipping) that has a 48v XLR input, two unbalanced outputs and a 1/4inch headphone jack. It should do all you need it to do!

So just to confirm, if i got this, i could plug it into my PC via the USB, then plug my XLR mic and headphones into it, then have my PC audio come through my headphones and then the mic be used for like Teamspeak/skype on said PC? Apologies if that sounds super stupid haha

Not for that price, order it from thomman if you can, they accept paypal. I've ordered stuff from there before without issue.

No, this only has 15v phantom power, whereas condenser microphones require 48v phantom power.
