Illustrated wrote One of the people that was shot was not innocent. The shooting where the guy was on the ground (don't remember his name) was justified.

Are you talking about Alton Sterling?

I definitely disagree that his murder was justified in any way. I seen the video on Facebook, and from what I could tell, he was unarmed and on the ground with an officer on top of him, absolutely no need to shoot him several times.

Ignorant assholes? I know all lives matter its because of recent events I'm talking about black people. I agree with what you say, police do good work and its not always mentioned. I'm not saying its right but these people must have felt like there was nothing else to do, fight fire with fire sort of thing.

The one where there was two officers on top of that guy in a car garage? Well that for instances is going to be a unjustified shooting.. We're trained to shoot center mass.. not the back.. no matter the circumstances.

It wasn't in a car garage, it was outside of a shop.

And I can imagine that he rolled over, to try and crawl away and they shot him in the back as he lay there. I can't think of any other way they could have shot him in the back.

The guy was a convicted felon, and had a gun in his pocket. It seems he was reaching for it before being shot.

Totally irrelevant.

Illustrated wrote and had a gun in his pocket. It seems he was reaching for it before being shot.

There was absolutely no way he could have managed to pull a gun out of his pocket and fire it whilst two officers were right on top of him.

Graphic video of Alton Sterling being shot by police. Don't open the spoiler or watch the video if it will make you uncomfortable.

Doesn't look like he's reaching for anything to me, and even if he was, no way he could have done any real damage. Totally unjustifiable murder in my eyes.

@Sanctorum, You should consider putting a spoiler over that video incase the wrong person accidentally clicks on it. Otherwise that was a great post and I agree with absolutely everything you said.

I understand it looks that way, I thought the same as you did to begin with.

Then I saw an interview given by the store owner saying that his friend was harmless and didn't do anything wrong and I also watched three videos, all taken from different angles and all showing that he almost certanly didn't reach for the gun.

That, added to the fact that the police confiscated the CCTV footage and wont release it to the public makes me almost certain he was innocent.
