Gaining mass means that you want to bulk. So the first thing you have to decide is if you want to do a clean bulk or a dirty bulk.
Clean Bulk: Eating lots good whole foods to gain size.
Dirty Bulk: Eating whatever food you can get your hands on aka Mcdonalds, pizza ect.
You will also want to pick up some Mass Gainer from your supplement store. There are a couple different kinds of gainers. Some are cleaner than others (some have lots of sugar).
Casein protein is great because it keeps you full when you're sleeping and then your body won't eat your muscle. Muscle deterioration happens when you sleep and that is when you're not consuming any food. So that is why casein is great!
Creatine is also great, but you need to stay consistent with it. Just make sure you read the negatives to consuming too much creatine since some beginners don't realize the harm it can do if you don't consume it correctly and drink enough water.
All this has come from doing reading on my own and talking to other people in the fitness industry. If you are serious about gaining size and doing it correctly maybe try talking to a personal trainer and a nutritionist so you get qualified information! Make sure you look on Youtube also since there is great content out there!!
Best of luck with your journey!

Really appreciate the post bro!
I study sport science so I know what I am doing as such but I'm unsure which is the most effective mass gainer, also I will most likely take creatine along with this & possibly casein at night time.

For gaining mass eating more is simply the best way, if you're wanting a shake thats calorie dense try this.
40g of Whey Iso Protein
20g of Oats
3 Egg whites
Handful of spinach.
Tastes like a55 but plentys of calories and good macro's this is my post workout shake.

Thanks bro I'll give that a try, I may end up adding peanut butter (a lot of it) if it tastes that bad

Shakes are good but its better to get food in solid form rather then drinking liquid.
EDIT :
My Shake used to be :
1 serving of a mass gainer
500ml skimmed milk
1 banana
Strawberries
1 teaspoon of peanut butter
