You can get a build a lot better than that for 800$. I didn't include a OS as you should put that money towards your actual build. Just torrent Windows 7 instead.

Do you plan on putting a build together or are you upgrading your current build? If you're upgrading your current build just go for whichever CPU your motherboard is compatible with.

I went for a 750W PSU so you would have plenty of headroom. You could overclock your CPU and even throw in another 780 later in the future.

Sure, but you could get a build a lot better for 600$. You could also save some money if you just pirate the OS. It's setting you back 100$ that you could put towards your actual build.
