Then you might have an issue with the ISO you downloaded. Try another. Also, make sure you're installing the CORRECT OS (x32/x64 BIT)

Personally, I would go with NVidia over AMD if you're looking to upgrade in the future (AMD fanboys don't even try to say otherwise). Sure AMD is OK, but for a longer term PC go with NVidia. Anyways ...
