There are no risks.
You can always restore your Idevice.
Thats putting it simple.

Really? You jailbreak an ipod send it to apple and see what happens. And i never said it was illegal. Devolopers CAN get in some trouble of they arent careful though.

None of these things happen, its all on what programs you install. And you CAN upgrade your firmware you just backup the jailbreak programs and install via iTunes. But you need to make sure that you can jailbreak the firmware you are about to update to.

Fyi, i have jailbroken my iTouch several times, only problems is my springboard crashing, which is like an additional 2 minute wait, i have also jailbroken my iPhone and the only problem i have experience is that i cant send pics x.x which makes sexting difficult, but, as the joke goes, theres and app for that xD

Mc-Donalds wrote Okay, so I'm tired of seeing all these topics/post, so i decided to make a short list about the risks.
(:
Lets begin:
*your warranty voids *EDIT* Warrantys no longer are voided.
*Unable to update Ipod/Iphone.
Lags your device.
Freezes your ipod/iphone to where its not repairable. (by this i mean you have to restore it)
Crashes alot.
(* = WILL DEFINITELY APPLY)
Personal Experience:
I have a 4th gen 4.2.1 greenpois0n ipod.
- I have ran out of memory (twice)
- Ipod has crashed (uncountable)
- Lots of lag ( one again uncountable )
- ipod froozen to where i had to reboot it (uncountable)
Thanks(:
Stop the spam!
Mc-Donalds
