My friend found a HTC Phone on the ground, And It has the same company as me (U.S. Cellular) , But they dont have sim cards, So If I went in to the store and activate it and use it, Would they know it's "Stolen" even though he found it?

take it to the local police station they can trace stuff back to you because who lost it will contact them for insurance and if they see you got it your screwed, just hand it in m8

dont hand it in. how do they know he has insurance? he could have no insurance at all. i have an iphone 4 with no insurance he could be the same.

if i was you i would just hand it in would you like it if you lost your phone and some other random is on your phone that you bought with your hard earned cash -_- i think not ...do what you think is the right thing.

The thing is, It's for U.S. Cellular, and U.S. Cellular doesnt have sim cards...
