The staff try's really hard to keep this site running. If there is something you want to discuss I'm sure anyone of them would be willing to discuss it with you. Any time I had a problem I private messaged a staff member and they took care of it for me. And about the section being a rant. Yea it is I just don't think TTG staff wants people degrading them... They want the site have some type of order.

I actually tried to dispute a warning in the ask the staff area and I wasn't received very warmly, so I went elsewhere to see if people share the same thoughts...and they do! I don't want to degrade the staff as I said earlier, Kyle93 was just looking at my topic, he's staff and is one of the nicest people on here, especially in PC support. This is more about the unfair actions of a few staff members which in turn makes all staff look bad, when in fact a majority do their job with excellence.

The fact this topic still exists and that I haven't been banned for speaking against the staff makes me think that there is hope in correcting this and that this rant was exactly what other users like myself needed in order to let the staff know that we weren't happy and we want to let them know without fear of a ban.

I knew that was only a matter of time lol check your PM's! I am glad to see how much steam this topic has generated and I thank you for your contribution in that! The staff has surprisingly been nice to me with this topic and hasn't issued any warnings or bans...I hope this topic gets people thinking and opens their eyes a little.

Kyle93 is definitely one of my favorite staff members. He always figures out something to say, or points you in the right direction. I also find bulletstorm a great person to go to for help. I've also talked to ttg zombies, an famous_energy about problems I had. I have not came across a staff member who wasn't willing to help. I mean that is what try are their for. And about the ask staff section... Idk I never used it. I normally like to go directly to the source.

I do. I mean sure.. someone from Staff can get butthurt from time to time, they're people too.

Just cuz they're "butt hurt" doesn't give them a right to rage and delete/warn/ban people or their post.

Yeah Kyle honestly deserves the rank he has been given among the staff. PM'ing him was nice because he did give some advice that I will keep in the back of my mind. I feel much more calm today compared to how I felt yesterday.

Am I still a little angry?
Yes.

Will I get over it?
Of course.

VEVO hit the nail on the head yesterday by telling me that I only received a warning and it could be worse. I will still continue to help as many people as possible on this site when they need me and if the staff want to warn me, well they can go right ahead because I won't let it stop me from lending a hand to those that need it.

I think the staff should really focus on the "post first read later type of people" and give more le-way to the higher ranked members... none the less there needs to be more looking into the post/problem before it just gets removed/banned.

If I get banned for posting this again, fine but here is my story.

Around the time I joined, I received a warning and my topic was closed for bumping. It was a hot topic, had 40+ replies in under an hour. I was replying to people after they commented, so I didn't have consecutive posts. I contacted staff about it, they told me the staff is always right, no further discussion. Not even in a nice way I might add.

My second warning was for making a post like this, that was my second high warning. But it wasn't EXACTLY like this. It was entirely different, and mentioned one sentence about my old warning.
Here's what the warning reads: "2. Do not post complaining about your warning. High Tue. Jan 15, 2013"
So out of maybe 150 sentences, one talked about my warning. I got suspended for two weeks. Now the funny thing is, I couldn't post in Ask the Staff or PM a staff member. I e-mailed them. To this day, I never received an email back.
So I made a conspiracy thread about the true reason...something was made illegal. It got closed for discussing drugs. I received a medium warning.
This time I wasn't suspended so I wanted to discuss why this happened. I didn't want to PM staff, the last few times I had a question never resulted in an answer.

Now I think I was nice, I simply thought that a medium warning was a bit harsh for something that really had nothing to do with bad parts of the subject, just why it was made illegal. It was really informative as well. I never got a reply. I also stated they should update the rules in the stickies, so things like this don't happen. Never happened.

Honestly, I feel like some of the things staff do are wrong, were all human. We all make mistakes, it's part of being human. I don't blame them. But every company has a way to dispute something. Ex: Xbox, you being banned.
Sometimes, people make mistakes and for someone who is at the bad end of the mistake doesn't appreciate having to deal with it.
I've seen plenty of amazing and nice staff, but I've also seem horrible staff that yell at other users for contradicting their opinions, and then saying "Enjoy your ban". I won't say the name, but I remember the mod doing so.

Kerrigan, I remember seeing staff telling people to "Enjoy your ban" as if it was a joke to them. If I remember correctly though, the person he said that to was very aware that what they were doing would result in a ban.

Staff: Blah blah blah is better because of blah blah.

Also, it seems more of satisfaction then a joke. Like, I can end this conversation. Ban hammer. The feeling of being more powerful then someone else, you know?
