I have DayZ since it came out but to be honest I don't like pc gaming compared to console
I hope they bring it to console as it would be good to see the console community playing it

Where did you hear about a release for xbox one? I can guarantee you that won't be happening anytime soon. Rocket seems like a smart guy, and release it any time soon for xbox would be terrible. Take Minecraft for example. People begged for it to be on console for a long time but Notch never did until he had it in a state that he felt was good. THe public alpha isn't suppose to start until June or July. So if it ever does get to the xbox, expect it sometime in late 2014 early 2015. Maybe even later. As of right now they are taking their sweet ass time getting it done. Which is perfectly fine by me. I rather wait longer and have a good experience instead of a rushed game that has a lot of flaws., but I am just saying its evident that it won't happen anytime soon.

Right, because having it on Xbox would A: Make it mainstream (da ****?) and B: ruin it's originality.

Makes a lot of sense, it's not like there are countless amounts of people who play Day Z as it is, but oh no, don't put it on Xbox! It would automatically make it mainstream (which in theory, it already is) and make it unoriginal.

On the 360? Oh, of course. It has no where near the amount of RAM needed to run Day Z at the current map size. I don't see a problem with Xbox One running it though.

I think its great, i reckon it could be on the Xbox One with the new specs.
They should be good enough to handle a open world like so.
But saying that 360 can handle red dead redemption
