it would never be able to work on xbox. they would need a huge disc which would cost them more to produce and they would probably sell for higher price and there is to many controls on the pc. you have to scroll down for ages to find or change any key because there is so many.

Where did you hear this from? Rocket said "Maybe", not "Yeah, its coming to xbox 360 and xbox One". OT: It would ruin the game, It just wouldn't work.

On the 360? Oh, of course. It has no where near the amount of RAM needed to run Day Z at the current map size. I don't see a problem with Xbox One running it though.
The Xbox one would still be running it on medium to lower graphics and ArmA II really shines when you bump up the settings

what makes you say it would run on med to low settings ? with 8 gig of ram and the capabilities of the new Xbox one it can run it as well as most current gaming pcs.

Just imagine how people would act on it.. Try to get a blood bag? To bad killed on sight by a 12 year old. Its better to have it geared towards the mostly older pc gaming crowd.

Loq wrote I think its great, i reckon it could be on the Xbox One with the new specs.
They should be good enough to handle a open world like so.
But saying that 360 can handle red dead redemption
And GTA 5 which is bigger than RDR

Edit: don't forget defiance which is an MMO on console

Please tell me how you will put at least 30 buttons on an Xbox controller? As well as have Day Z played the way it was intended being played, instead of having all the COD kids get Lee-enfields and camp towns. Who will host the servers? Who will moderate servers? Its such a completely foolish idea if you would take 10 seconds to think about it realistically.

If its is a success on the pc which I have doubts, then it will come to the xbox when its good and ready. To the people saying it will be on low and med setting, what the hell are you talking about? When making it for a different platform they make it fit that specific platform so if they did do it then it would run perfectly fine with no problems. Also to the person saying it could run high because of how much ram is on the new xbox, do you have any idea how games work?
