That's not theft. That's teaching students to not have their phones out. Two different concepts.

my school has a BYOD (bring your own device) policy, which allows you to have you phones, tablets, ipods, and laptops with you. it is up to teacher discretion when you can use them though.

last year I would sit on TTG and texted and snap chatted people in all of my classes. this year however TTG and snapchat are blocked...

teachers can take anything off of you if you are on school property. we used to play hacky sac during lunch and people abused it by pelting people with them so they got confiscated.

They cant force you to give them your phone at all.

Just say no and put it away.

They shouldn't have if it was after school they are not allowed to do that.

We can use phones or anything in the Halls, at lunch, or in class if the teacher allows it.

As long as you are on school property you can't get on it. That is how our school is

For my school you can have it out during like transitions of class periods, out during lunch and sometimes in class depending on the teacher but I also have if it gets taken up you have to pay 15$ and a way of proof that its your phone

Pretty sure once that bell rings you can take your phone out. At least in my school you can, the only thing they'll take when the bell rings, is your hat. Which even that i think is really stupid.
