Hmm i like it but dont think it will work because its overlapping , The main use of the logo is to be embossed onto a portfolio and with the interlapping i dont think it will work

Something like this is what i mean with the portfolio.

Might be worth trying some mock ups

Asymmetrical wrote When going simple you have to get it spot on or it stands out too much.

Top of the J.
Either smooth it or bring the kick out a bit more

Maybe cut it from a circular template so it is continuous and smooth.

Make sure all edges are aligned and filled.

Second one is a meh no go for me

Exactly what you said. The first one is a nice concept, but looks very sketchy when you look at it closely. Still a very nice concept though!

Ok can we stop commenting "Exactly what he said" please? xD , I read his opinion , He was right but if you look i did say i was posting this to show the concept of the logo , It wasent the version i was going to use and i know there were slight problems with it , I wanted people to look at the concept.

Why is everyone bashing it?

He is only designing (although the lies weren't needed)

It's all fine, he's not committed a crime (although you were close considering it was copyright material however you did change it)

Try something different man, logos need to represent you/something. As much as you admire someone's work, copying that is a form a flattery.

Good luck man:)
