Hello TTG, I recently built my 1st PC ever and I am still using the stock cooler. I was wondering if anyone could link me some nice coolers that would fit my equipment and since I'm new to this stuff, not very hard to install! Thanks!

Air or water either or, whatever is gonna keep my temps down. My temps are fine the way they are with a stock cooler but everyone says I need to upgrade to an actual good one. My budget, I'm not entirely sure, $50-$100? If you would like just link me some even if its out of the price range! I don't know how much decent/good ones cost so just link me some if you would! Appreciate it

If your not planning on overclocking, and temps are all in the norm then you should be ok with the stock cooler (if you can deal with the noise..)

If you still want a cooler I recommend:

Air cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo- $40

Water cooler: Maybe a Corsair H60- $60

Personally, get a air cooler as it will work out cheaper for around the same performance.

You can try these:

CM Hyper 212 Evo [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

or

Noctua NH-D14 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Currently have the CM hyper installed on this PC but had the Noctua on another build. If youre not doing any overclocking, you really dont need one.

Note: make sure to check your case before buying a cooler because the ones I linked might be a tight fit with small form factor PCs.

You've only got a locked i5 so I wouldn't spend loads on a really beefy cooler, this one should do for just under $50;

I would suggest spending the rest on an SSD if you're not saving it. An 850 Evo is pretty much the best value for money you can get.

SSD's are non-mechanical storage drives that are much faster than mechanical drives. Having an OS, programs and games on them makes a huge difference and speeds up the loading and boot times significantly.

Ok thank you @Skittle. When I get one, am I going to want to transfer my things over to it or leave everything on my HDD?
