First off all 3 of these cars depending on what engine, model, color, etc will have high insurance payments and if you are a younger male that also makes your insurance go higher, so I would call your insurance and compare rates on all 3 models you're interested in that way you know exactly what youll be paying for insurance. Also depends on what year of those cars your looking at, and brand new or used?

Me personally, would not purchase a ford. It would be between the dodge and Chevy. My decision between those two would depend on what model/year you're interested in. You can't ever go wrong with a Chevy I'll tell you that.. I own a 2016 impala ltz and I love the car hasn't given me a single problem what so ever. Challenger is also a good car but it would really depend on the year/model if I was the one purchasing. Personally I would not purchase a v6 model of any of these cars only the v8 models interest me. Without any information I'm going with a brand new base model.

Dodge is owned by Fiat so the Challenger is no longer American. American in design, but Italian by ownership.

I know the Camaro used to be built in Canada since the 90's until last year when they were talking about building it in America again, I'm not sure if they are or not though.

That leaves the Mustang as the most American muscle car out of the the three.

The Dodge is the slowest of the 3, and the Camaro is straight up unusable compared to the others. Visibility is horrendous and the trunk is almost laughable. I would say the Mustang is the funnest to drive as it's lighter, has more space and has slightly better visibility.

No one on this forum has enough knowledge or has had enough cars to be able to say X brand is good or bad. All they can say is they had luck with X brand X model X year. A 2016 Impala is not a 2017 Camaro and would not be driven the same.

I simply gave him my opinion on what he asked, nothing more... yes I've owned a total of 8 Chevrolets in my time of driving one of which I ran all the way up to 325k miles so you can understand why I may be bias to a Chevy. Also, i do not see the point in buying a muscle car to get a v6 engine, again my opinion. Now a v8 does not suit everyones budget or preference, I understand that... this is just MY opinion..

Buying a v6 muscle car would mean cheaper insurance by up to a few grand, and better gas mileage while still having the same roar a muscle car has rather than a fart can exhaust a ricer has

lol if you're buying any of these cars for their trunk space you're an idiot also you're wrong about weight.. Camaro is the lightest out of all of them.

Really depends what you want. I personally own a 2013 Camaro SS. Im not sure how much you're looking to spend or what body style you like better out of all of them blah blah blah. Anyways from personal experience i can tell you that i absolutely love my Camaro. the biggest pro about a V8 Camaro is that from years 98+ they have the LS based engines which are just about the most reliable engine you can get from a performance car. Also if you are into cars and like to build them up the LS engines have one of the biggest aftermarkets there is. parts are relatively cheap and they make good power. If you're not too much into cars then you still cant really go wrong with a Camaro. Stock they have enough power to make you smile and wow you. Plus the LS engines still get about 20+mpg. Dodge isn't bad either. I don't know as much about the Dodges but usually from what i hear its about a 50/50 shot if you will like it or not. Mustangs I personally don't like. Not my taste. A Mustang will probably be your cheapest option. Dodge will most likely be the most expensive.

Cheaper insurance, dodge offers awd for their v6 versions, just as good because most people dont care for 400-700hp which is where all those cars fall into for the v8, plus maintenance is a lot cheaper, and it goes on so there is a point to then, you're just being a lil bit of a fan boy
