MW3 PS3 weapon patch notes released, Terminal fix ‘incoming’

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received some a new weapon balancing patch. Infinity Ward has revealed all buffs and nerfs in a forum post, and announced that the DLC map Terminal will be lag-free by launch.


The changes – listed on the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 forums rebalance a handful of assault rifles and SMGs:

FAD – increased damage and range
M16A4 – increased damage and fire rate
AK47 – reduced kickSMG’s Buffed
UMP45 – increased damage
MP5 – increased fire rate
PM9 – reduced kick
MP1st is also reporting that the free DLC map Terminal is being patched and an update will be available in time for when it launches on Call of Duty: Elite PS3 August 16.

The fix remedies known matchmaking issues and lag problems with the map.

Yeah but half of them probally already have mw3 mods now, since its the ps3lol


that's true, it's a lot easier to mod the ps3 then it is xbox.


Yeah, sooner or later MW3 on PS3 will turn into COD 4 on Xbox with all the modders and such..


Yeah i think it will look at Mw2 and Cod 4 both IW games along with Mw3

yeah i don't even bother looking for my cod4 anymore, tired of getting annihilated by modders.

upd8 They increased the damage of the UMP45? Wow, that must be a real buff gun now.


i don't see why they did that, it was fine the way it was.


Yeah if anything i want them to lower it, try that gun with rapid fire, Like 2 SHOTS And ure dead

Doesn't suck if he wants to try hard. I guess its a good thing actually, easy to level up if you're using a 2 shot kill weapon.
