MW3 PS3 weapon patch notes released, Terminal fix ‘incoming’

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received some a new weapon balancing patch. Infinity Ward has revealed all buffs and nerfs in a forum post, and announced that the DLC map Terminal will be lag-free by launch.

The changes – listed on the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 forums rebalance a handful of assault rifles and SMGs:

FAD – increased damage and range
M16A4 – increased damage and fire rate
AK47 – reduced kickSMG’s Buffed
UMP45 – increased damage
MP5 – increased fire rate
PM9 – reduced kick
MP1st is also reporting that the free DLC map Terminal is being patched and an update will be available in time for when it launches on Call of Duty: Elite PS3 August 16.

The fix remedies known matchmaking issues and lag problems with the map.

upd8 They increased the damage of the UMP45? Wow, that must be a real buff gun now.

Yeah, it was still a good gun even before the update but now that they buffed it, it's probably the most powerful weapon in the game now.

They also changed some of the names of the stores too.

Ah well, it still plays like Terminal though! :D

they did??? at least Burger Town is still the same lol
yes, it does with the annoying spawn traps -.-

They changed the name of burger town though! (I think).

No, it's still the same...I thought. :/

I'm pretty sure it's still the same :)

I swear they changed it to something stupid. Well, its good they kept it. I always liked that place :p

yeah the kitchen is a great spot for infected

It's also a good spot for boosters :u

Yeah i'm sure it didn't Burger Town written it either, but I don't know maybe they fixed it.

I wonder if the "burger king" menu's are still there. Those were great.
