Sony asks you to design the next DualShock 3 controller

SCEA is asking gamers to submit design ideas for its next DualShock 3 controller.

The firm has released a number of different colours over the years, and it plans to release more - designed by you.
"We want to add to our line-up of DualShock 3 colors, but this time we want you to be the designer," says Sony via the US PS Blog.

"Starting today, and ending August 15th, you can ... submit your idea for the design of the next DualShock 3 controller. Whether your design is based on your favorite game or your ideal color, all PlayStation fans will be able to vote on your idea."

OutcastSpartan7 Seriously, I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but they should either move the position of one of the thumb sticks (like Microsoft's Xbox controller) because it's horrible when you are gaming and your thumbs hit together, doesn't happen often, but it happens... Everything else is fine, 6axis is stupid.


I agree !!!! i hate when that happens

gusta This is nice, but you do not want to change the remote around too much, it will cause alot complaining since no one will be used to it

Yeah they should just make it themselves.


They will be making it themselves.. it's just that they want ideas so their users feel integrated in the process. Crappy controllers anyway, might as well stick an analog stick on a brick.
