GTA 5 delay: Rockstar dismisses conspiracy theories

Rockstar has debunked the "conspiracy theories" surrounding the recent Grand Theft Auto 5 delay.

While we do not know which theories Rockstar were referring to, we have the suspicion that it may have something to do with people thinking that GTA 5 may be releasing on Next-gen consoles.

But Rockstar insists that the only reason Grand Theft Auto 5 was delayed was to ensure the game meets customer expectations.

"To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they're all nonsense - literally the only reason we've delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be"

"For those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well."

Make everybody wait longer then more people buy it, honestly after making a game for 5 years it's going to be good enough especially if making video games IS YOUR JOB. If they release it around CoD and maybe even Halo, then I say goodluck, but they won't get as much sales.

THECARJACKER Since it will be coming out around FIFA, Halo and CoD, there will be a massive battle between them all. Im going for GTA, an hopefully they will win!


gta will dominate the sales and i think it will get gme of the year

Yer hes right!.. like the swing glitch in gta4.. i meen that was a funny glitch tbf!.. im glad they never took that out!.. thats what kept the game alive for years!! lol!!

Epic said the same thing about Gears 3. They didn't change a single thing with the 6 months they were given. I still think they moved the release date just to make more money.
