EA exec: It is unlikely the next Xbox will play Xbox 360 games

An executive for Electronic Arts has recently claimed that we should not expect Xbox 360 games to run on the next-gen Xbox, nor should owners of the next Playstation expect to play PS3 games on the PS4.

Sources report that EA chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, said "An important thing to remember is that next-gen consoles will most likely not be backwards compatible… And if you play multiplayer on a game, you'll most likely not be able to play with someone on a different generation."

Telstra I'm gonna miss playing the arcade games :( They better bring a much better indie games franchise to the next-gen xbox


This is what i will miss they are good for when you have time to waste and just in general to play

lmao if they want people to buy their new product then they will make it backwards compatible, otherwise I will not buy it and I am sure that people like me who own well over 250 games will feel the same way
