Sonic: Lost World - 12-minute gameplay video

Sega isn't waiting until E3 to show off the first proper gameplay footage of its new Wii U and 3DS adventure, Sonic: Lost World.

Sega's associate brand manager Aaron Webber talks you through three levels in the video below, via IGN.
Webber also offers first details of a co-op mode which lets a second player follow along and provide support for Sonic, much like Tales did in classic Sonic titles.

Coming to both Wii U and 3DS, each version will offer unique features. The Wii U edition will have exclusive Colour Powers controlled with the GamePad by tilting, touching and aiming. It will also be playable using only the GamePad screen and will include a two player support mode.

He might not have played all the Sonic games, doesn't automatically make him 13. Not everyone was a major gamer as a child.


no i wasn't, just had a ps3 which i played from time to time.

The 3D adds so much of a new element to the gameplay and many different paths and aspects to the game.


Was really nice in Sonic Generations. Only problem was the final boss switching between 2D and 3D, through me off sometimes.

It's completely different from Sonic Generations. There is no Eggman, you're not fighting old bosses and you're not going between classic Sonic and new Sonic.
