Battlefield 4 will sell 14M, can “coexist successfully” with CoD

4.5
Battlefield 4 will sell 14 million units, according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, but notes that both it and Call of Duty: Ghosts can “coexist successfully” in the market even with both hitting retail within a week of each other.

In the note, Bhatia predicted one-third of all Battlefield 4 sales would come through PC, but that only 10% of Call of Duty: Ghosts sales would be through PC.

Sounds about right.

Bhatia said Grand Theft Auto 5′s release is far enough ahead of both titles which would “limit overlap,” and he feels Skylanders will remain the market leader in the toys-to-life genre – even with Disney Infinity looming.

Aggie I like this post. Why cant Battlefield and Call of duty Coexist?

well when referring to the players it's kind of irritating, I own both titles already but I'm a heavier battlefield player and I notice when CoD players are just now starting out in Battlefield, due to camping techniques, trying to quick scope, lacking of team work, objective to kill/ death rather than the overall object (i.e. conquest). in CoD one could get away with all of that especially with working alone, but it's almost impossible to work alone in Battlefield and win the game, you will obtain more kills if you attack the objective (because the objective you're attacking is most likely be retaliated upon) you can't quick scope with a sniper rifle, and camping never really works in your favor unless you're a good sniper and laying across the map. This being said, players will never agree with each other on this concept but both games are built for particular needs and I'm more for in game physics, bullet drops, heavy bullet damage etc. plus the graphics are amazing and blowing buildings up always excite me, I have none of that in CoD, but I will still be buying both games mainly because I've always enjoyed the modern warfare campaign and I want to continue the story with Ghosts

I don't understand all the conflict between COD and Battlefield, they are both great in different ways, that's why I'm buying both :D

I know for a fact I will be buying both, I used to be a CoD fanboy back in the day but Battlefield puts out games that are just as good if not better.
