Battlefield 4 will sell 14M, can “coexist successfully” with CoD

Battlefield 4 will sell 14 million units, according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, but notes that both it and Call of Duty: Ghosts can “coexist successfully” in the market even with both hitting retail within a week of each other.

In the note, Bhatia predicted one-third of all Battlefield 4 sales would come through PC, but that only 10% of Call of Duty: Ghosts sales would be through PC.

Sounds about right.

Bhatia said Grand Theft Auto 5′s release is far enough ahead of both titles which would “limit overlap,” and he feels Skylanders will remain the market leader in the toys-to-life genre – even with Disney Infinity looming.

I feel like battlefield might beat cod in sales this time.

If you want realism then go join the military.

Only problem is the Military isn't a video game or a game at all for that matter.

So much truth. I like my games with a little realism, yet i don't think they should be compared with risking your life on the actual Battlefield while protecting your country.

Go play ARMA if you want realism.

I haven't played that game yet but people have told me it is the most realistic shooter.

Don't doubt this stat one bit, Almost all of my friends are more exicted for BF4 over COD: Ghosts

The new Battlefield will overtake CoD on a different scale!

It hopefully will pass Call of duty. Battlefield is a better crafted game in my opinion. From what i have seen there has been much more hype for BF4 then there has been for Ghosts

I know I'm way more excited for BF4 then COD: Ghosts. Battlefield deserves to outsell COD this year, COD has been up there for too long when there are way better games out there that deserve to have recognition.

Call of duty has sure been above battlefield for a long time. I've played battlefield since Bad Company 2 and it's about time the series deserves to pass call of duty in the sales charts. By this i am not saying that the Call of Duty series should die or anything along those lines.

Busselton I literally can not wait for this game, watching the siege of shanghai was so awesome, omg when that building collapsed...

That is going to be such a game changer in multiplayer. Now if you collide in a building with an air vehicle you will more and likely knock it down and then block the paths for foot infantry and ground vehicles.

Yeah, i am planning on joining the ADF(Australian Defense Force) when i finish uni, might be a technician, or provide help with mechanics and so on. Life is definitely no video game, sometimes you wish it was, but current world issues that happen makes you think :/
