Angry Birds Trilogy coming to Wii U in August

Rovio has confirmed the Angry Birds Trilogy will be available for the Nintendo Wii and Wii U in August.

The Angry Birds Trilogy features Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.

According to its developer, the Nintendo release "30 episodes on disc -- including exclusive new levels". Additionally it has "Wii U Gamepad and TV swap capability, touch screen controls and online leaderboards."

In May, Rovio launched a new publishing business called 'Rovio Stars'. The initiative will debut with Nitrome-developed Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage.


According to director of development Kalle Kaivola, Rovio Stars is "focusing on a small, select number of games, and each Rovio Stars launch will be an event of its own."

Rovio Stars EVP Jami Laes said the new initiative is intended to guide users to quality games in a flooded market. "We want to help our fans find quality entertainment among the more than 100,000 games available in the app stores."

Homunculous I'm not looking forward to this. All I ever here is "Angry Birds" they do to much with what should be a simple one to two expansion game.


I completely agree, all that I can say is WHY!? I absolutely hate the fact that these $1 games made it onto consoles at $30.

They have made a lot of games but they are just basically re-skins. I don't hear a lot of people talking about Angry Birds as I don't really know many people who are app gamers.

I'm not really sure how modding angry birds will work.. How would you mod it.

If there is an actual pig aimbot then that is just something else. I know that there might be mods for infinite birds but aimbot seems a little out there xD


That would be going a little bit too far i think..

I guess something like a level creator would be pretty cool. Or a chance to customize your birds. That's all i can think of though
