PS Vita 2000 is currently for Japan only says Sony

Sony has confirmed that for the time being, the newly-announced PS Vita 2000 model will be a Japan-only release.

The lighter model comes with an LCD screen, rather than an OLED display. We reported on the console’s reveal and details here.

Now, a Sony spokesperson has told IGN that while the company is, “considering every opportunity”, for the PS Vita 2000, it, has “nothing to announce for the [Sony Computer Entertainment America] territory.”

It seems a Western release is unlikely for the time being, but would you like to see it happen? Let us know below.

Eh, they will make another vita also. anything for money just like they did with the psp.
My vita was boring that's why I sold it

TeamArianaGrande It looks really good. I wonder why they put 2000 after it anyway. If it does come out in the USA i still do not think i will buy it. I'm not too big on handhelds.

They put 2k after it because it's the second version of the Vita. They did the same thing with the PSP.

Wow. Kid run back to your hole... no they didn't i haven't seen nintendo invent a handheld which can play full next gen games or anything. Plus this is their second edition of the PSVITA not the first so... Oh really Infinity 'Awards' coping Battlefield, is that new company?

You know that Sony only made the PS1 to get back at Nintendo, right?

i love my Vita way it is :P i don't plan to upgrade it or anything even if it does come to UK no point in my opinion, i can still play PS4 games i can still play VITA games so...
