Need for Speed Rivals now a PlayStation4 launch title in North America

Electronic Arts announced today that the PlayStation 4 version of Need for Speed Rivals will hit store shelves on November 15 as part of the console's launch lineup in North America.

Developer Ghost Games initially planned for a simultaneous launch on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 22, but has since bumped up the PS4 version's release to coincide with the platform's debut stateside.

The Xbox One version of Rivals is still slated for release on November 22, accompanying the console's 13-market launch. Ports for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms are due on November 19.

GibbityTree I don't like them rushing games for launch. Iron out the bugs first, money-hungry EA.

You can't really say that the game has been 'rushed out' before playing it. As long as the game is made well and doesn't have many bugs/glitches i would class what EA has done as a good business move

All games will have bugs'glitches because that's how games are made -.-

yes that is very true. the thing that a game should aim for is minimizing these bugs and glitches that are evident when the game is released. Hence why is stated "Doesn't have many" instead of "Doesn't have any"

Awesome, this game looks great and I really want a quality racing game on PS4 cause right now there really aren't any.

You can't really say that the game has been 'rushed out' before playing it. As long as the game is made well and doesn't have many bugs/glitches i would class what EA has done as a good business move

Well this is definitely good to see. While i haven't purchased a Need for speed game for a long time i wouldn't mind going to pick this one up.

LaserShow So I guess the exclusive deal that MS has with EA Sports doesn't extend to ALL of EA. Bummer dudes, I guess they didn't throw enough money at them to have them launch the inferior version first.

LMAO they got the inferor version of ghosts but dont worry they get map packs first lol
