Minecraft in development for Wii U – rumour

Minecraft is already a voxel pandemic, but rumblings from the cube underworld suggest that a Wii U edition is currently in the works.


Nintendo Enthusiast claims its sources have confirmed the game’s development, and claims that the ‘developer’ – most likely Dundee’s 4J Studios – is in possession of Wii U dev kits now.

The project is said to be in development alongside PS4 and Xbox One editions, and that all three will launch summer, 2014. On Nintendo’s format, the Wii U GamePad is said to be a big focus.

Treat his as rumour for now.

It seems like a good idea, considering that they have the screen on the controller that they can use as well.

I actually know more kids who play the Xbox 360 than i do the Wii U.


God, don't even get me started on that. In all honesty, most people I know that have a Wii U are around the age of 16+ and they're fans of Nintendo where as I know people who are like 11 on the Xbox 360, playing CoD and all that stuff because they bugged their parents for that game/console. I'm starting to notice that the Nintendo audience is more on the older side as their fans have been with them before and either stuck with them or came back.
