'Minecraft' creator says no plans for a Wii U version

Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson addressed recent rumors Friday that a Wii U version of the popular open-world sandbox game was in the works. While he did put the kibosh on the rumor, he did leave a glimmer of hope for owners of the Nintendo console.

"I am not aware of any plans to release a Wii U version of Minecraft," Persson stated on Twitter account.

"I agree a Wii U version would make sense, [by the way]," the Mojang co-founder continued. "The only reason for no current plans is we've got too much work already. I

This would have been a nice addition to the Wii and may have helped them in sales, due to being able to play it on the TV.

that makes sence im sure they are focusing more on the PC and Xbox versions honestly i see so much additions to it that i can see why they arent in any rush to put it on the wii.
