Call of Duty Ghosts: Onslaught DLC dated

Infinity Ward has announced a January 28 release date for the first Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC pack, Onslaught.

"Something menacing is coming Jan. 28," the studio said on Twitter. "Get ready for the #Onslaught."

Infinity Ward posted a link to the following Instagram tease, which is set to the main theme music from the horror film Halloween.

Infinity Ward also said the DLC will introduce a fresh enemy type, spiders, in Extinction mode, which is to receive a new map called Nightfall.

A GameStop store display advertising the DLC (spotted by Twitter user @SeriousSix2010) names the Onslaught DLC maps as Fog, Containment, Bayview, Ignition and Nightfall. They're listed alongside a bonus Maverick AR and Sniper Rifle.

Infinity Ward plans to release four Call of Duty Ghosts DLC map packs. They will be available standalone or can be pre-purchased at a discount when bought as part of a DLC season pass. All Ghosts DLC will release first on Xbox.

I just have a massive lack of interest in the CoD franchise now.

I mentioned this in another post, but DLC's use to be so cool, waiting with friends to download them, and they were so fun. Not looking forward to this at all.

I still don't know if I'll be purchasing the DLC, I usually end up disliking the maps and not playing them so I most likely won't buy it.

To bad extinction is complete crap compared to its predecessor. I don't even know why IW tried to make their own gamemode, they should of invested more time in making better maps.
