New Nintendo eShop releases: Unepic, Castlevania 2, F1 Race Stars

4.7
Things are still a bit slooooooow as far as new eShop content goes - that headline covers all of this week's new releases - but hey, let's pick apart the bones.

Unepic has been around since 2011, but today marks its debut on Wii U. It's a platformer with RPG elements, evoking classic D&D and NES-style gameplay - or, in the words of Nintendo's own blurb, "Unepic is a mixture of platform game, role game and joke that takes place in a huge castle of medieval fantasy. It is set in the eighty's style, but completed with the most actual features."

Ahem. As for F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition, the Wii U edition of Codies' cutesy karter adds four tracks, nine accessory packs, and motion and tilt controls for a GamePad steering wheel. Also, there's Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest to keep the Virtual Console ticking along.

Lastly but not leastly, Etrian Odyssey Untold is half-off at $20 until January 27.

Int I always liked psp better, always will.

I personally think that they both have their strengths and weaknesses. The main thing bringing the PSVITA down is the lack of games at this point in time

Laze Never heard of that before, be honest everyone these days use emulators;)

Just as good!

Most 3ds emulators are fake, so yes, and no.

Katsumi I may pick up Castlevania if possible, it looks like a pretty good game from what i have seen

It looks okay, but looks like it will get boring quite fast.

Makes sense.. I have always found games such as Castlevania weirdly interesting though despite the repetition and all

Personally I've never played it.
