Sony promises 100 PS4 games in 2014

Sony has promised over 100 games will release for PlayStation 4 during 2014.

The company Tweeted the statistic during its PS4 showcase event in Los Angeles.

These titles are likely to include both digital-only and retail releases, ranging from indie titles through to Triple A Sony exclusives such as Infamous Second Son.

Sony has already released a number of indie titles in 2014, including Outlast and Don't Starve. Titles including Fez, Rogue Legacy and Strider are among the titles slated for release later this year.

Meanwhile, Sony has confirmed that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Don't Starve and NBA 2k14 are the most popular games on Remote Play, which allows users to stream PS4 games to the PS Vita.

Sony has made a series of announcements today including a PS Vita / Borderlands 2 bundle, which is due to release sometime between March and May.

The company also announced new Vita bundles for Ratchet & Clank and God of War.

This isn't that crazy of a promise but I am guessing that most of the 100 will be in small games such as Indie or Arcade games but I wonder what are the actual Big game relases like ones that will come out on DVD.

Its not really playstation that has anything to do with how many games come out. Its the game developers for the most part.

Calyx This is a lot of games, on average about 2 games a week, if you want them all you need a lot of money!


Worse, since its already february, they've lost 5-6 weeks of that, so instead of games being spread out between 51 weeks, its 45 now, even more games per week, July - December is just gonna be crazy!

100 Games does not sound promising in my eyes 1 new game every 3.65 days, they sound rushed and no quality,

Now for me i would rather 10 new games with quality, precision, time taken, and design time. That just my speculation not think 100 sounds too many and boring?
