Thief sneaks in 1080p for PS4 while Xbox One lags at 900p

Thief is due to be released on February 25th, it has came to light that the PS4 version will render at 1080p while it's Xbox One counterpart will only turn up at 900p.

The slight gap between resolutions was announced by the game's Publisher, Square Enix, in a recent chat with a leading gaming news venue. They go on to state the difference is so minute that you would *need* really good sight to spot the disparity. While he admits there is a difference albeit slight between the PS4 and Xbox One he goes on to tell gamers that the biggest jump in quality for Thief will be from the previous generation of consoles versus the latest and greatest from Sony and Microsoft.

I don't mind I got my Xbox One without anything else (Controller, Kinect, Power Brick) for $80. I'll probably pick this up sometime in the near future.

If you're going to sell your console because of this stupid resolution ****, then I feel bad for you, some devs from various companies said it will all be even soon.

I personally find these console wars stupid, if I had the money I'd pick up a PS4, but right now I don't, I can just play on my roommates (which I probably will if he lets me when he gets Second Son). Both consoles are great in their own way.


you dont have the xbox one i actually have other reasons to sell the console its not only because of the resolution but there is more behind the story
