Activision and Infinity Ward have let out the contents of their timed-exclusive Devastation on Thursday and is set to include four new competitive maps, a new episode of the Extinction co-op campaign, and a new weapon. The DLC includes four maps named Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed and they vary from small to medium in size. This content also adds to the game Extinction Episode 2: Mayday, it continues the story of the cryptic menace that adds a new aliens type and Venom X modifications.
The last notable addition is the "Ripper", it is a hybrid weapon that allows those who wield it to convert the weapon into either a SMG or assault rifle firing mode. Those who own a Call of Duty: Ghosts season pass have had access to the weapon as of last Thursday, all others have to wait til April.

I still suggest that Infinty Ward should hold back the DLC and fix a few issues with the game for example Match making. When I'm with a party of 6 it takes way too long to get into a game and half the time we'll just be stuck because players would back out the pre-game lobby.
