Sony Computer Entertainment Canada has confirmed a price increase for the PlayStation 4, DualShock 4, PS Camera, and titles including inFamous: Second Son and MLB 14 The Show. While speaking with Sony Canada the Toronto Sun they went on to comment that the PS4 console itself would go up $50 starting on March 15th, the DualShock 4s and PS Camera will increase by $5, and many PS4 games will increase to $69.99 or a extra $10. This move is most likely related to the obvious lack of available PS4 units for sale within Canada, Microsoft reached out to comment that they did not plan to increase the Xbox One's base price.

A more likely cause of the price increase has to do with the weak Canadian Dollar. How do I know? It's kinda obvious, if the lack of PS4s was the reason, why would they also increase the price of games/software? Games are usually always available.

I dont see why they would do that either. I mean now its a close price with the One and PS4. Still no point in raising prices.


They are raising prices because the weak value of the candian dollar.

SkylarDesigns I used to be an Xbox gamer for 6 years. I recently switched to PlayStation 4. I overall think it's better than the Xbox One. The ONLY thing I think Xbox One did better than the PS4 is the GUI for the PlayStation Home.


Can't judge a console if you don't own it
