Titanfall bans being issued to cheaters

Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment has started banning cheaters.

Following confirmation that the studio has started to issue bans, developer Jon Shiring took to Twitter to explain that anti-cheat detection measures had been active since the launch of the game.

In early March Respawn said it was working hard to eliminate Titanfall cheaters: "Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We're logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly."

Titanfall debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats chart on Monday after enjoying the biggest launch of 2014 to date.

The game drove a 96 per cent increase in UK Xbox One sales during the week ended March 15.

never saw a cheater in titanfall didnt even knew that where some cheaters but it can only be on pc

cheat/modding in SP is alright to an extent but MP is a big NO. also TTG isn't a modding/cheating site it's a community gaming site. i thought we stopped using modding/cheating back in 2012?

You are totally wrong. Half of the members on this site came here looking for mods in the beginning. Modding is still very much alive, and if you don't like it then you've clearly never experienced how fun it can be

This IS a Gaming Website. Nothing more than that. It happens be a Modding/Hacking Hub also. There are people here that love tampering with systems and games, and others that despise it.

TTG has never allowed piracy, it's always been that way.

It's still very much a modding/cheating website. There isn't a doubt in my mind that 90% of the people claiming they hate hackers on this site would jump at the opportunity to be maxed generation in Titanfall, or max prestige in Ghosts.
