Titanfall bans being issued to cheaters

Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment has started banning cheaters.

Following confirmation that the studio has started to issue bans, developer Jon Shiring took to Twitter to explain that anti-cheat detection measures had been active since the launch of the game.

In early March Respawn said it was working hard to eliminate Titanfall cheaters: "Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We're logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly."

Titanfall debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats chart on Monday after enjoying the biggest launch of 2014 to date.

The game drove a 96 per cent increase in UK Xbox One sales during the week ended March 15.

Snipul I haven't started this game but my brother has it and it looks freaking amazing! can't believe there are cheaters on it though? like already, even on the xbox one? but hey cheaters will always find one way or another I guess :/


Yeah theres obviously going to be cheaters on a brand new game but as it progresses they will start patching the exploits and there will be a time where there is very little cheaters and when they stop caring for the game the cheaters will take over again

yes but respawn are the ones that created the best cods not the crap ones.


That is right! The employees at Respawn were the same people that were largely responsible for making CoD4 and MW2, which, in my opinion, are the 2 best CoDs made to date.
