Destiny Had Over 4 Million Players During its Beta

The Destiny beta was a beast, with Activision announcing today that 4,638,937 players participated in the early access stress test of the game launching September 9.

"Hosting a beta at this scale is an incredible feat, so we're thrilled to see the phenomenal response. But the beta is just a taste of what's to come," said Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg. "This is the biggest beta of this console generation by a wide margin and the largest console beta ever for a new video game IP to date."

4 million players and it handled it amazingly.
After they iron out small problems, this game is going to be amazing.

The game was not how I expected what-so-ever. I wish they'd expand MP. I stopped playing before I even learned of the competitive MP in the game, which was the reason I downloaded it to begin with. Great game, but not enough MP. :

I could not play because I only have a 4GB Drive and it will not let me use USB

Yes it is. I am surprised that the servers for the beta didn't overload like they have for previous games.
