Xbox Live Goes Down Yet Again, Lizard Squad Claims Responsibility

Xbox Live social services including friend list, party chat and logging in are currently suffering from connectivity issues on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

At the time of writing the Xbox Live Status page does not currently reflect the problems, but we can confirm that the service is having difficulties.

The Xbox Support Twitter did acknowledge service problems as well as down detector.

Xbox Live and PSN took a hit last year when the Lizard Squad were running rampant but it seems the group is back to their old tricks once again.

So then how often is "way too often" for you? lmao

OT: Both times Xbox has "gone down" I haven't been affected. I wouldn't have even known their were problems if I wasn't browsing the web.

Pretty sure Islamic State have better things to do rather than claim they took XBL down lol.

I hate when "Hacktivists" ruin normal peoples fun by taking XBL and PSN servers down and claiming it is for the greater good. Hope the FBI catch and prosecute these people.
