New Xbox One backward compatibility games announced

Microsoft has added 10 Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One backward compatibility list. In addition to this, they are changing the release schedule for titles in the future.

Instead of releasing games monthly, they will start releasing titles as they become available. This means games will become available faster.

On top of this, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can download The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for free on Xbox.com anytime between now and February 5th.

Here's the list of titles that were made available today:

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls
  • Small Arms
  • Soulcalibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

What? Lol. If you want to play a CoD so bad than go back to old gen and wait for it on BC. Saying that BC is useless without CoDs literally makes no sense at all.


I would go back and play them on 360 but cod4/mw2/waw are all full of hackers and it is no fun.


You do know that even though they bring back those old CoDs you will play with 360 people still right? (meaning some hackers)

It's all an emulation, the only way to play withouthackers is to either ban them all or remake the game.

Agape A lot seem upset... Because they don't see call of duty? I agree I want those added too, but this has some solid games, the witcher 2 and soulcalibur are both really great games


It's not really because there is not CoD games. It's more of the fact that they created a way for the community to voice what games they wanted, and most of the if not all of the most popular games aren't even available yet. I understand there are publisher issues, but we would have rather waited for a knock out line up over a rushed feature.

i understand that but they didn't have to give us backwards compatible games in the first place lol

1966 Is CS:GO worth getting on xbox?


Try the trial first. It plays at a disgusting looking 30 fps. You'd have to test it on 360 though, I don't know if u can get game trials for 360 on Xbox one.


It's actually pretty fun despite the fps.
