New Xbox One backward compatibility games announced

4.4
Microsoft has added 10 Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One backward compatibility list. In addition to this, they are changing the release schedule for titles in the future.

Instead of releasing games monthly, they will start releasing titles as they become available. This means games will become available faster.

On top of this, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can download The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for free on Xbox.com anytime between now and February 5th.

Here's the list of titles that were made available today:

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls
  • Small Arms
  • Soulcalibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Really the only game on that list worth playing is Witcher 2. Great game. All the other games on the list are kind of just a waste. In my opinion anyways.

Hainzyy halo wars?

please xbox. please

Halo wars is a Microsoft game man..

And? What does it being a Microsoft game have to do with anything?

it should be added faster they don't have to get any approvel/licensing.

Eh I don't think that's necessarily true. If it were, I'd have predicted all the halos to already be BC, but only Reach and Spartan Assault are. I'd imagine that Microsoft already has a great deal of approval from companies to keep making them money, and all the licensing to the games would have already had to be worked out prior to the games release on the 360. I really just think it's them moving in a economical direction, trying to slowly add good games surrounding by average games to keep gamers excited and waiting for the next release. If all the good games came out in one giant release, people would get bored of them in a few weeks and would then have nothing left to expect coming from BC.

actually there is a possibility for that as I just saw more leaks about Halo wars actually coming to BC!

Pro why are no cod's getting released yet

I honestly hope they release MW2 on the the XB1.

I think that everyone wants mw2 to be on there
I don't think that they will be able to get permission form publishers. It may come as part of infinity ward's next game.

sadly i dont think were gonna get CoD that often. because BO3 just came out so they want to sell that rather than old cod
