New Xbox One backward compatibility games announced

Microsoft has added 10 Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One backward compatibility list. In addition to this, they are changing the release schedule for titles in the future.

Instead of releasing games monthly, they will start releasing titles as they become available. This means games will become available faster.

On top of this, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can download The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for free on Xbox.com anytime between now and February 5th.

Here's the list of titles that were made available today:

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls
  • Small Arms
  • Soulcalibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

From majority of places I've read they won't be bringing back any of the CoD games unfortunately. But they said they were going to bring Black Ops 1 back which hasn't been actually pushed at all. So it's kinda odd. I would like CoD4 and Mw2 as well though.

I actually might download CS:GO and try it. I mean, it's awful compared to PC, but nobody played it on Xbox 360. Maybe more people will play it now that it's on the One.
