Call of Duty 2016 Confirmed In Development By Infinity Ward

Call of Duty 2016 has been confirmed to be in development by Infinity Ward, the developers of Call of Duty Ghosts that was released in 2013 during the launch of PS4 and Xbox One. We still don’t know whether their new game is COD: Ghosts 2, COD: Advanced Warfare 2 or a sequel to an older Call of Duty like Modern Warfare. Call of Duty Ghosts was the weakest entry in the series. It was developed by Infinity Ward and released in 2013 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Wii U. It was riddled with bugs at launch and also faced harsh criticism over its multiplayer and single player content.

The next Call of Duty was from Sledgehammer Games who released a brand new entry in the Call of Duty series called Advanced Warfare. It was released in 2014 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The game was an improvement over Ghosts in almost every way.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the latest release from Treyarch Studios and Infinity Ward are again looking to be the developers of the next Call of Duty. Among the potential sequels, they can either develop a sequel to Ghosts, Advanced Warfare or go back and work on Modern Warfare 4. Hopefully we will know more about the next Call of Duty as we get closer to E3 2016.

Ever since Ghosts I stopped playing COD because they got really shitty with all the futuristic bullshit, I want is a good game that resembles a older COD but better. I don't even care if they continue the Modern Warfare Series, Just give us a good game.

Well........ There are 3 different producers and each of them take 3 years to develop a new COD... So I'm not sure what you mean by "just take some time"...

I would like To see something to do with world war 2 again like Cod world at war as that's something they haven't done in years and I think that it would be a big hit but I just hope it doesn't turn out to ghosts 2 or advanced warfare as those were the worst cod games I have played.
