According to a member of Team Fail0verflow, there is no way that Sony can fix the new PS3 hacks on the current system. Speaking to the BBC, Pytey noted - "The only way to fix this is to issue new hardware. Sony will have to accept this." Sony declined to comment to the PS3 over the new hacks.

t really just goes from super bad to worse for Sony's console protections. Well known hacker Mathieulh has claimed that he has managed to find the PSP's master keys through the PS3. Needless to say, PSP hackers have returned to action and updated a lot of their classic hacks for the latest firmwares.

Last week, hacking group fail0verflow and well-known iPhone hacker George "GeoHot" Hotz revealed new hacks for the PS3 allowing pretty much anyone to run unsigned code on the system. Sony has yet to nullify this through "network updates" as promised, and has instead chosen to address this problem by filing temporary restraining orders against the hackers. Their words, not mine. It seems that Bushing, Marcan and Sven have completely destroyed the PS3's security systems and that soon homebrew will be coming to all PS3's no matter what the firmware, as they have discovered how to sign homebrew and PUP files!
