How Ray Tracing works on the Series X

Ray tracing on the Series X does not have a toggle option on the system itself and comes down to the developers supporting the feature within their game. Though ray tracing is supported on the system, it cannot be enabled in a system menu.

While we have a list of every game with Smart Delivery that is optimized for Series X, not every game has ray tracing enabled. Therefore, not all titles will benefit from ray tracing whether they are optimized for Series X and have Smart Delivery or not.

Games such as Watch Dogs: Legion will benefit from ray tracing automatically while titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, though optimized for Series X|S, do not benefit from ray tracing.
