Massive 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' Rumor Reveals Battle Royale

There's been a lot of talk lately that Modern Warfare 4 might be the next Call of Duty title and now a new leak has arisen to share some details about what could be if this rumor turns out to be true.

Before diving into what the latest rumor mill has turned out, keep in mind that this is coming from a source that really seems to come out of nowhere. That being said, take the below information with a very hefty grain of salt.

Now, what's allegedly coming with the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4? Apparently, Battle Royale. No surprise there given how much Blackout has seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Clearly this very popular mode of online play transitioned quite well into the military shooter, so seeing the studio continuing that wouldn't be much of a surprise.

The leak also reveals that there will be "no new campaign story." Instead it will be a remaster of the second Modern Warfare with the third possibly being added later.

Another notable part about this leak is that apparently, specialists could be coming to Modern Warfare - which would be a first for this particular series in the Call of Duty franchise.

As mentioned, this is heavily in the rumor pile for now until we can get a trace on its source. Until we get official confirmation, grain of salt = this.

A call of duty MW4 would be a nice scene for COD, they need a real strong bounce back, these past games in my opinion have been pretty wack.

So they are taking all of the older Call of Duty's and putting them together to make a new game? Also removing the mission "No Russian" is a straight up snowflake move. I've always hopped that one day call of duty would release a game similar to Call of Duty Online. I just think that they should at least focus on a campaign since its always played a huge role in the gaming series.

I hate when these **** ruin good cods or atleast the memories and how it use to be. For one I don't want no damn zombies in no modern warfare game, then no new campaign is a big pet peeve for me it's what keeps me intrigued in the story and to just be remastering and pushing the same campaign out that I played 10 years ago and have beat multiple times does not sound fun. Not to mention they took out that one mission because everybody is so soft and sensitive now these days. Pretty much not worried about trying to make a decent game just worried about making a quick buck and pushing out another shit game on us. I don't know anyone who is a fan of specialist either and hopefully there is no loot boxes but probably will because it's the day and age we live in. As of now I am not feeling to hot about this game seems to me as if they are just pushing the same shit out of us and just making us pay for a game that we bought years ago that is most likely going to be worst than the original version with all this extra shit they are trying to do. I much rather see a new campaign but kept in the same era. I guess I'll have to wait and see how this goes but in my personal opinion this is just going to be a huge fail.

For real, that was really annoying about bo4 as campaign has always been fun in call of duty. I really hope this is the only one without single player because even though multiplayer is ultimately more popular, single player is a great way to enjoy the game before diving into multiplayer


Especially when Modern Warfare were, to me at least, the best of the COD series in terms of campaign quality. Black ops 1 and 2 and WaW are close though. Campaign is definitely a great way to enjoy the game solo. If they're cutting out a whole part of the game, it better not be $60 because multiplayer and BR is just not worth that.

Not the fact the battle royale thing does it any favors, this game (if it's true) has a lot to live up to. So they better do the last 2 justice or the backlash fans will give will be insane.
