I liked the original mario cart yet i am getting a little sick of Nintendo using the same old franchises constantly. I will likely not get this one

That would make Nintendo a sell out though. Their games should stick to their consoles.
I agree. Plus the Nintendo systems are customized better to play these kinds of games.

xCeeTee I do love Mario Kart, but I think they need to make this for the 3DS if they want to bolster sales. They've already announced the destruction of Super Smash bros. and Pokmon series this week, I hope this doesn't get massively changed.
I'm sure they will eventually make one for the 3DS but they might want to see how it goes for the Wii U before rushing in and making one for the 3DS.
