'Minecraft' creator says no plans for a Wii U version

Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson addressed recent rumors Friday that a Wii U version of the popular open-world sandbox game was in the works. While he did put the kibosh on the rumor, he did leave a glimmer of hope for owners of the Nintendo console.

"I am not aware of any plans to release a Wii U version of Minecraft," Persson stated on Twitter account.

"I agree a Wii U version would make sense, [by the way]," the Mojang co-founder continued. "The only reason for no current plans is we've got too much work already. I

If someone is used to the Wii controls it would be easier for them. I can tell you though, coming from Minecraft PC to Minecraft Xbox 360, I felt so off with the controls it wasn't even funny .-.

If mine craft was on the Wii U, they could potentially make some profit from it.

Australians They gotta do this in time, It's fine being on the current systems.


I'm sure over time or if the Wii U starts to pick up in sales rather soon, Minecraft will be ported over to the Wii U.


I dont think it ever wil be on the Wii U.
